		<description>I flew past the Boxee installation as it used to be as simple as download the .deb file and run it. This was from a long time ago, I think it&#039;s probably Boxee alpha that&#039;s working with Ubuntu 9.10. I know they just released Boxee 1.5, is that the version you&#039;re having problems with? Best thing to do is grab the path from the Boxee shortuct and run it in a terminal, it will probably show what the error is.</description>

		<description>Good article. One thing I noticed though is that you fly by the &quot;installing boxee&quot; part on Ubuntu. I am having major difficulties doing this on my virtualbox AND on my PC. I am using Ubuntu 11.10 and the latest boxee. Not matter what I do, I can&#039;t get boxee to open. It just bounces and then disappears. I am installing boxee via the software center. Any help would be appreciated.</description>
